Meet the Chiropractor

Dr. Oscar Bacino

BSc (Physio); MSc (Psych); BChiro; Cert (Gonstead); Cert (Extrem)
Born in Uruguay, South America, Oscar has always had a passion for assisting others. His journey started in 1986 when he obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the School of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Medicine of Uruguay. In the autumn of 1987 Oscar and his wife immigrated to Mexico.

By 1998, Oscar had become the Vice-President of the Mexican Physiotherapy Association and in 1999 he was appointed by the Board of The Latin American Confederation of Physiotherapy and Kinesiology (CLAFK) to represent the South America region. This position at the CLAFK's Board also allowed Oscar to be part of The World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) Board.

As his passion for knowledge persisted, in 2003 Oscar graduated after three years of studies with his Master Degree in Ericksonian Psychotherapy from the Institute of Milton H. Erickson, Mexico.

Ready for his next challenge, Oscar along with his wife and two children travelled to New Zealand in 2004. While in New Zealand, Oscar took the opportunity to fulfil a long-standing dream of becoming a Chiropractor and in the summer of 2010, Oscar graduated with his Bachelor of Chiropractic from The New Zealand College of Chiropractic.

Since graduating, Oscar has continued his pursuit of knowledge and excellence with further study. In 2015 Oscar completed his postgraduate studies and was awarded Gonstead "Chiropractic Certification" by the Gonstead Chiropractic Society, Australia. Oscar was also awarded an "Extremity Certification" in 2017 by The International Board of Extremity Chiropractors, USA.

Oscar is also a Coach, international speaker, former Mentor-Supervisor at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic as well as an Auditor for the Chiropractic Board of NZ. Most recently The Board has appointed him to be a member of the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC).

With 38 years of experience in the health field, Oscar feels blessed, as it seems life has given him the opportunity to do what he loves most – to help and serve people who are in need.
